Happy 2023! We’re excited about the new year and a few emerging design trends we’ll be taking major inspiration from during it.
British Invasion
British interior design takes grand millennial to the max. A perfect contrast of old and new, our cousins across the pond are not afraid of mixing classic chintz with modern color and fun. Bring the cozy, quirky, layered essence of British design into your home with the artists and designers below.
MATILDA GOAD | Designer and owner of the eponymous homeware emporium, Goad brings cheerful British quirk to her interior accessories line. A master of all things scalloped, her special raffia lamp shades liven up the most basic lamp base. She also has special capsule collection with Anthropologie!
BEATA HEUMAN | Hueman’s interior designs are classic Brit, many of which are featured in her chic coffee table book, Every Room Should Sing. Her online shop had endless homeware accessories, custom furniture, fabrics and wallpapers, not to mention the coolest pendant light of all time, her signature Dodo Egg.
LUKE EDWARD HALL | Artist Luke Edward Hall has endless partnerships that utilize his colorful, painterly aesthetic. His designs pair old (lots of Corinthian columns) with new (bright, acidic colors). From rugs, to smoking slippers, he has you covered.
Fearless Color
Goodbye farmhouse neutrals, hello COLOR! Whether you are after a cobalt terrazzo floor or a futuristic wall mural, don’t hold back! Rules are meant to be broken, and embracing color is a welcome shift toward unique and creative interiors.
